The White Riverway is envisioned as a national park-like network of natural, cultural, and community experiences along the White River. To bring that vision to life, Discover White River launched a digital pass connecting 28 parks and attractions across two counties — each with its own custom national-park-inspired badge.
Participants earn 100 points per check-in (and 400 for volunteer activities) and redeem for vinyl park stickers, an 18×24 poster of all 28 badges, or a White Riverway tee. No app, no friction — just GPS check-ins between Indianapolis and Hamilton County.
Peoria County Bison Trek
Peoria County, Illinois · Bicentennial → America 250
To celebrate Peoria County’s bicentennial, the County partnered with local businesses, schools, and artists to install 40+ fiberglass bison sculptures across the community — each one painted by a different local artist. The Bison Trek digital passport guides residents and visitors to find them all, snap a photo, and earn a digital badge for each.
The campaign was so well-loved that Peoria County extended it through July 4, 2026 to celebrate America 250, with a refreshed Bison Trek pass and prizes from Wildlife Prairie Park.
