🌟 Featured Events: Spotlight What Matters Most
Not all events are created equal—some deserve extra visibility. With Featured Events, you can now highlight key happenings.
Think:
- Community festivals
- Partner or sponsor events
- Annual celebrations
How it works:
You can now feature any event from the Manage Events page in your dashboard by clicking the “…” menu and selecting Feature. Once featured, the event:
- Gets highlighted in your calendar
- Displays a special “Featured” tag
- Appears in a new Featured Events category filter on your calendar
This ensures your biggest events always stand out.
🗺️ Custom Regions + New Region Filter: Smarter Discovery
Communities often span multiple cities, and visitors want quick ways to find what’s relevant to them. That’s why we’ve introduced a Region filter to the calendar—making it easy to filter by city or by custom regions you create.
How it works
- In the Regions tab of your dashboard, you can group multiple cities into a Custom Region (e.g., Bay Area, East Bay, South Bay).
- The calendar’s Region filter then shows both individual cities (e.g., Palo Alto, Burlingame) and custom regions (e.g., Bay Area).
- Visitors can instantly filter by the geography that makes the most sense to them.
This new enhancement makes your calendar more intuitive and user-friendly, whether someone is looking for events in a specific city or across an entire metro region.
Both features are available immediately to existing customers.
